The layout of MOJO is......organised which connotes (=has associations of)...........professional................By
contrast, the layout of We Love Pop is. Busy/..crowded chaotic disorganised which connotes....a bubbly...feeling

The typography of MOJO is...more controlled and appropriate. which
connotes (=has associations of)..........more respectable and suitable to older
readers......... yes, good........ Yes; also there is specific typography for The
Rolling Stones: the font is Celtic, so an artistic / historical vibe connoting
that they want to be considered as ‘artistes’. They want to be treated
/ regarded as serious By contrast,
the typography of We Love Pop is. Bold, big and
colourful. Very varied, a hotchpotch of styles..which connotes...big themes and
wanting to get their point across..
less mature, less serious
The layout of MOJO is..........proper and appropriate...... which connotes
(=has associations of)......seriousness.....................By contrast, the
layout of We Love Pop is... bright/bold . which connotes. youth and fun....yes all true but what about the number of
photos? MOJO is orderly with
very few images
which connotes a more subtle approach
whilst WLP is
crammed with photos of popular stars
The colour palette of MOJO is limited to ..softer much darker tones........which connotes
(=has associations of).......more put together and elegant serious, adult but still portraying information....................By
contrast, the colour palette of We Love Pop is.....bold and harsh
tones.. is
pink, blue, yellow, red which makes
it seem happy and exciting. which makes it seem...younger people
like brighter colours to draw their attention to it..
The language of MOJO emphasises ..professionalism and
details....whereas the language of We Love Pop is ..slang and abbreviated to try and make
it appealing for kids language... yes
